Through intimate, documentary-style storytelling, this project unearths the deep-seated satisfaction and laughter found in the fields, offering a heartfelt look at the human connection between the farmer and the land.
This short film series, हरियाली मुस्कान, aims to capture the authentic joy and dignity of farmers. The showcased images focus on candid close-up portraits and wide shots of the vibrant rural landscape, highlighting the connection between the land’s bounty and the farmers' happiness.
My process blended the precision of engineering with the eye of a photographer to ensure detailed documentation. I used fieldwork to capture unscripted moments during daily labor and community events.
Artifacts include a Visual Documentation Log detailing site specifics, a library of high-quality clips, and audio transcripts, which together form the genuine narrative foundation of the film.
My primary role was the Visual Documentation Specialist for the short film series, "हरियाली मुस्कान." I combined the precision of an engineer with a photographer's eye, focusing on capturing authentic, unscripted moments of joy and resilience in the farmers' lives.
I worked most closely with the Farming Community, whose trust and participation were essential to unearthing the smiles that form the project's core. I also collaborated with the Editor/Narrative Lead, providing a structured library of high-quality clips and audio transcripts.
